Alpha-Zeta Enterprises, Inc.
opened October 1986 in Martin County, Florida. Chuck Smith, the sole owner,
moved to Palm City in 1985 to work in the hospitality industry. Back in the 80’s
there were not many local hospitality jobs, thus Alpha-Zeta was born. Chuck
opened the doors with a pick-up truck and an eagerness to create a long term
business that the results could be seen for years to come.
 Our
philosophy has always been simple, “Specializing in all Phases of Quality
Landscape”. This means that we control and manage as much of the project as
the customer will allow us to perform. By allowing us to do this, the job gets
completed efficiently, economically sensible and mutually satisfying the first
time.
Since opening we have grown by leaps and
bounds:
- 1986 – Opened our doors as a landscape
installer
- 1988 – Added full service landscape
maintenance
- 1989 – Earned Florida license for irrigation
division
- 1992 – Purchased 1st nursery in Palm City
- 1992 – FNGLA #70 state certified landscape
contractor
- 2006 – Purchased our second plant nursery
off Boat Ramp Road in Palm City
- 2009 – Opened our Going Green Design/Build
landscape center at 1218 SE Federal Hwy. in Stuart
- 2009 – Became a synthetic turf installer for
the Treasure Coast area
